We are excited to let you know that we are currently in the process of reviewing our environmental and social policies at Westleigh Dental Care to ensure that as a business we are making a conscious effort to minimise our environmental impact, to make a positive impact in our local community and to support the well-being of our patients and staff.
Environment
Our environmental initiatives include policies and practices to reduce waste, minimise energy usage, promote and encourage sustainable supply chains, reduce carbon emissions and encourage biodiversity in our immediate environment.
Local Community and Charitable Giving
We are looking to develop links within the local community where we can signpost our patients to helpful initiatives. We are also assessing our charitable giving and how we can support local charitable groups.
Staff
We recognise at Westleigh Dental Care that our staff are our most valuable assets and as such we are always looking for ways to support and improve their health and well-being. Initiatives such as the government’s cycle-to-work scheme and volunteering in the local community are currently under review.
Communication
Every two months we hope to focus on a different initiative. Updates on our progress will be posted on our notice board, website and Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/westleighdentalcare
